PV TILES & PAVEMENTS

Surfaces that do more than cover.

FET develops photovoltaic tiles and pavement elements that preserve the primary function of the surface while adding local energy harvesting and, where required, signalling or lighting functions.

WHY INTEGRATE PHOTOVOLTAICS INTO THE SURFACE

Use the area that already exists.

Horizontal surfaces are normally passive. By integrating photovoltaics directly into tiles and pavement elements, the same area can retain its structural purpose while becoming an active energy-harvesting component.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Remain a tile or pavement.

The component continues to perform its mechanical and architectural role as part of the host surface.

ADDED FUNCTION

Harvest local solar energy.

Photovoltaic elements become part of the surface rather than an installation added above it.

OPTIONAL FUNCTION

Communicate through light.

Integrated lighting can support indication, signalling and safety functions in horizontal installations.

PRODUCT FAMILY

From photovoltaic tiles to active horizontal surfaces.

The same structural photovoltaic principle can be adapted to different dimensions, geometries and functional requirements.

ACTIVE SURFACE

Luminous & Signalling Elements

Horizontal photovoltaic components that can also integrate lighting, indication or road-safety functions.

STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION

Photovoltaics becomes part of the component.

Cells, protective layers, electrical connections and the mechanical body are developed together so that the photovoltaic function is integrated into the tile rather than applied afterwards.

The final architecture can then be adapted according to expected loads, geometry, surface finish and operating environment.

LIGHTING & SIGNALLING

The surface can also communicate.

Where required, integrated lighting can transform a photovoltaic pavement element into a signalling or indication device, opening applications in mobility, safety, public spaces and distributed infrastructure.

APPLICATION AREAS

Architecture, infrastructure and horizontal signalling.

Buildings & Outdoor Architecture

Terraces, courtyards and surfaces where photovoltaic harvesting can be integrated locally.

Pedestrian Areas

Walkable surfaces combining structural function with local energy harvesting.

Road & Safety Signalling

Luminous horizontal elements for indication, warning and distributed safety functions.

COMMERCIAL INFORMATION

Available as a B2B product platform.

PV tiles and pavement elements can be configured according to geometry, mechanical requirements, electrical architecture and optional signalling functions. Commercial versions can be presented in the FET Catalog as individual configurations are consolidated.
